Job Description
Role Purpose
To provide right business direction and leadership for a specialty chemical company by setting up strategic goals and objectives of the organization and ensure necessary resources are in place to achieve profitably with sustainability.
Role Reports to Director
B.Sc./M Sc. Chemistry or BE/B Tech.- Chemical Engineering Preferabley from IIT,IISC, UDCT, HBTI, BITs Pilani, VIT or reputed colege/university MBA preferabley from IIM ( preferred) or Mgt. course from reputed institute
25 + Years (At least 7 Years experience as a CEO, must have 3-5 years of experience in public limited ( listed specialty chemical company ) Must have executed 100 Cr. To 200 Cr. Projects
Manage Overall PL, Growth, EBITDA as Per agreed targets
Ensure financial health, overseeing performance, and risk management.
Manage investor relations concern stake holders of business
B. Strategic Vision and Execution:
Design, Develop Implement Overall Business Strategy Plans of specialty Chemical Company
Lead the Organization Growth Plans Achieve Targeted Top / Bottom lines through Effective Business
Strategies with focus on export market ( US, UK, Japan, China other countries)
Effectively Coordinating Managing all Functions-Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, Quality,
Regulatory Affairs RD
Lead the Development of organization long Short-Term Strategies with focus on growing specialty
chemical business in export market
Successfully execution of 100-200 crores projects
Drive automation innovation to bring operational efficiency
D. Organizational Culture and Development:
Foster a culture aligned with company mission, vision, and values.
Enhance employee engagement and development.
E. Business Development and Innovation:
Develop Business Prospects by Studying Economic Trends Revenue Opportunities; Projecting Acquisition
F. Compliance and Risk Management:
Oversees Financial Performance Risk Profile while ensuring all Statutory Regulatory Compliance,
Monitor Company Performance by Measuring, Analyzing Results, Initiating Corrective Actions
Minimizing the Impact of Variances.
G. Technology and RD Leadership:
Discover and implement new product, new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Be competitive in building R D, ADL ,Technoly Transfer for new product commercialisation
H. Customer and Market Focus:
Develop new markets and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, ( especially MNCs of US, Europe, Japan, Korea )
Identify and create opportunities within existing customer base.
I. Industrial and Public Relations:
Manage industrial relations and enhance public relations
J. Revenue Generation and Data Analytics:
Drive additional revenue through new technologies, products, and market opportunities.
Utilize data analytics for conclusive decision-making and effective strategies.
Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role
Knowledge of New chemistry, green chemistry, new preoducts chemical technological trends to build
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research with safe cost effective methods
Excellent communication skills, Leadership and organizational abilities
Strategic thinking Problem-solving aptitude
Financial Planning Strategy, Forecasting, Marketing Business Development
Risk Management, Compliance Regulatory Requirements
Budgeting, Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash flow Capital Planning Management Knowledge, Skills
