Job Description
Required Skills:
Basic Qualifications
B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics or similar areas.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with software function development for automotive controller programs.
Experience of working within an ASPICE based process environment (or similar)
Should have system Architect experience with powertrain/ Propulsion, power electronic, software or electric motor system experience domain.
Should be strong in SysML
EA tool/SParx system/ relevant tool
Experience with MS project and a task management tool eg. Atlassian JIRA, IBM Rational RTC, Polarion etc.
Knowledge of V-Model Development Methodology
Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
Preferred Experience
Experience delivering a project with functional safety (ISO26262) requirements.
Propulsion, power electronic, software or electric motor system experience.
Knowledge of Cyber security (ISO 21434)
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and guidelines (eg INCOSE).
Responsibilities
Leads the systems development team in developing projects for ECU s of conventional and electrification powertrain applications.
Contributes to the overall project scope definition for controller eHW, software development including functional safety and cybersecurity aspects.
Plans and schedules activities for different features and solutions of the product
Defines content and priorities of systems tasks using a formal task management tool.
Key contributor and supporter of the requirements development process.
Works towards enhancing and standardizing different work elements of System Development.
Leads the Change Control Board on need basis and enables progression of Change Requests and Resolution of Problems/Issues.
Drives systems related internal and externally detected issues to closure through root cause analysis, such as 8Ds.
Ensures adherence of the system team activities to the internal ASPICE based development process.
Reviews work products to ensure quality and consistency.
Coordinates with the System Test Lead (SYTL) to ensure test coverage and traceability. Coordinates/Collaborates with Global teams towards Systems Engineering assignments and tasks
