Job Description
Purpose of the roleOn L463 programme, once the KO gateway has been successfully passed, the virtual phase will begin, and Agile pro duct squads will be formed.
Within the paint technology we will require 2x engineers to progress the virtual process assessments and to address our design-for-manufacture requirements within the appropriate squads - expected to be 6 or 7 squads.
It is expected that these roles will be required between technical gateway on L463 (around December 2024) up to gateway (currently projected to be July 2026)Responsibilities Access and review vehicle geometry using virtual tools in 3D Experience for compatibility with paint processes and facilities Perform desktop studies, both ad-hoc and in line with DPA5 schedule Evaluate BIW geometry and pa int content against Global Paint Manufacturing Standards Work with Paint VME to define and review process simulations Work withi n product squads to address paint process feasibility issues and to track en
