Sap Netweaver Administrator

Role & responsibilities

An SAP S/4HANA NetWeaver Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of the SAP S/4HANA landscape, contributing to the overall success of SAP implementations within the organization.

• System Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of SAP S/4HANA NetWeaver systems. Perform system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Installation and Upgrades: Coordinate the installation, configuration, and upgrade of SAP NetWeaver components for SAP S/4HANA landscapes. Stay current with the latest patches and updates to maintain a secure and efficient system.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance issues through system tuning, database optimization, and infrastructure enhancements. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a well-integrated and high-performing SAP landscape.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies for SAP S/4HANA NetWeaver systems. Develop and execute recovery procedures in case of system failures.
• Security Management: Collaborate with SAP Security Consultants to implement and enforce security policies, roles, and authorizations. Monitor and mitigate security risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP S/4HANA NetWeaver landscapes to ensure business continuity.
• System Monitoring and Reporting: Set up and maintain proactive monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues before they impact system performance. Generate and analyze system performance reports for continuous improvement.
• Collaboration with Basis and Development Teams: Work closely with SAP Basis administrators, developers, and functional teams to support ongoing projects, enhancements, and custom developments. Ensure smooth integration and cooperation between different SAP components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP S/4HANA NetWeaver configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
• Vendor Collaboration: Engage with SAP and other technology vendors to stay informed about updates, patches, and best practices. Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and system optimization.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience - 8 to 10 Years
Qualification - B.E / B.Tech
Skills :-

• Proven experience as an SAP NetWeaver Administrator, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver components, including Application Server, Gateway, and Web Dispatcher.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA database administration.
• Strong understanding of SAP security concepts and best practices.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• SAP certifications in relevant areas are desirable
