Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Infotainment Specialist with 10+ years of experience in the development, integration, and feature delivery of infotainment systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system and software development for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and cockpit systems, with expertise in Linux, Android, and QNX-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development, integration, and validation of infotainment systems and child modules (displays, docks, microphone, antenna, steering wheel controls, etc.) in an automotive environment.
• Work on system and software development for cockpit domains such as IVI, Audio, Instrument Cluster (IPC), Head-Up Display (HUD), and Telematics.
• Perform software failure mode analysis, debugging, and root cause identification.
• Design and define system architecture, requirements engineering, and solution design for infotainment platforms.
• Utilize software systems engineering principles, including UML-based system interaction modeling.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements for Android Auto (AA), CarPlay (CP), Alexa, Bluetooth (BT), Wi-Fi, and USB.
• Work on Linux, Android, and QNX-based system design, ensuring robust and scalable development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infotainment system development with automotive ECU and software development processes.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in automotive infotainment development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Android, and QNX-based infotainment systems.
• Strong understanding of automotive ECUs, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and vehicle network architecture.
• Experience in software/system failure analysis and debugging.
• Familiarity with certification and compliance processes for infotainment systems (Android Auto, CarPlay, Alexa, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, etc.).
• Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) for automotive applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
