Key Deliverables in this role
Financial Outcomes
- Growth and Volume Targets: Support in delivering growth and volume targets in key states by achieving key consumer and trade metrics and annual JTBDs. Anchor volume and revenue delivery by working closely with the sales/shopper team.
- Business Plan Delivery: Deliver on the annual business plan, ensuring top-line and bottom-line delivery (P&L).
- Market Expansion: Identify new target markets for growth beyond current regions.
- Profitability Focus: Manage a product with a significant gross margin and focus on growing it into a more profitable brand within two years.
- Develop and execute high-impact digital content strategies across social media, websites, and paid media to drive brand engagement and visibility.
- Cost Saving Initiatives: Lead cost-saving initiatives to expand margins.
Customer Service:
- 4P Execution: Design and execute the 4P strategy, including ATL/BTL activities, team engagements, and festive campaigns. Revamp packaging to drive brand affinity and offtakes.
- Design and execute innovative digital content strategies that tell compelling brand stories across social media, web, and paid channels.
- Innovation and Marketing Mix: Drive innovations with the right marketing mix within the portfolio.
- GTM Development: Develop and strengthen go-to-market strategies along with sales and shipper, for newly launched or developing products in the portfolio.
- Consumer Insights and Activations: Deliver strong consumer insights and convert them into impactful trade and consumer activations/initiatives to grow business metrics in allocated states. Responsible for demand generation and co-leading trade schemes.
- Data-Driven Initiatives: Conduct analytics using internal and external reports/research and implement data-driven brand initiatives. Focus on growing household penetration in key states and delivering on consumer metrics.
- Market and Consumer Understanding: Understand market and consumer dynamics deeply, execute growth plans in focus markets, grow alternate channels, and uncover new opportunities.
Internal Processes:
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the brand team to devise annual and MTP plans.
- Consumer Insights: Work on deep consumer insights and collaborate with the equity and CI team to grow consumer KPIs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with external agencies and other stakeholders to establish product superiority tools and ensure effective consumer execution.
Critical success factors for the Role
Educational Qualification - MBA (sales & marketing)
- Overall 4-6 years of experience in Sales & Marketing roles
- Relevant experience in handling F&B brands
- Strong understanding of consumer and research data including Nielsen, HHP etc.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?
- Prior experience in FMCG
- Ability to collaborate, influence and to create impact with internal teams for business delivery
