Assistant Manager - Platform Planning & Network Design

Job Description:

To manage team of feasibility planners who provide end to end feasibility solution using Optical Fiber / Radio / OLO (Other Leased Operators) with single (or) dual diverse connectivity. To understand the business process and share feasibility solutions for delivering complex projects that span across various technology and geographic areas within UK region. This role is required to be flexible and responsive to the needs of customers and meeting specific internal and customer defined SLA / KPI targets.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of planners and ensure onetime delivery of feasibility solutions for orders in UK region.

Ensure department standard processes and procedures are followed and maintained to attain/retain quality standards

Establishing relationship with various internal / external stakeholders to overcome dependencies in delivering the solutions

Problem solving, work logically through problems referring to local work instructions

Desired Skill sets

Knowledge and experience in DWDM and OTN technology

Basic understanding knowledge on IP networks (Switches, Routers and MPLS)

Experience in handling internal customers

People management experience
