Junior Business Analyst

• Create FunctionalSpecification Documents (FSD) for PAL development, with guidance of Team Lead.
  
• Create wireframes, Workflowdiagrams, Data flow diagrams, Algorithms for use cases.
  
• Assist Team lead in managingall PAL development requirements to ensure deadlines are kept.
  
• Maintain a prioritised PAL developmentbacklog for every Quarterly development cycle. Ensure all the stakeholders areaware of the status of PAL developments.
  
• Assign the priorities ofprojects/tasks basis the discussion with Team lead.
  
• Gather ideas &requirements for tool improvements coordinating with peer colleagues within thedepartment and propose solutions/system improvements for business needs to Teamlead.
  
• Assist Team lead inallocating the UAT task for the requirement provider, document feedbacks.
  
• Overview and coordinate allPAL developments for Voyage and Performance PAL as described in the framework.
  
• Assist Team lead indevising solutions to improve effective utilization of tools by all parties inFPC.
  
• Verify the PAL release notes are in order coordinating with PALdevelopment team
  
• Assist Team lead withrequired data in handling first level of queries on Voyage & PerformancePAL.

Education & Qualifications:

• B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical/Marine/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  
• B.Sc. in any trade

Job-Specific Skills:

• Proficiency in MS office tools, especially in Word. Visio or any similartools is an advantage.
  
• Fair understanding on the Shipmanagement domain, and prior workexperience in Shipping ERP systems is an advantage.
  
• Fair understanding of Project management tools such as ClickUp, VSTSetc.
  
• Ability to grasp software algorithms quickly.
  
• Good technical knowledge of ship construction and marine machinery is anadvantage.
  
• Fluency in English.
  
• Prominent level of computer literacy.
  
• Effective communication skills
