Senior Executive - Purchase

Role & responsibilities:

• Processing purchase requisition, day to day co-ordination with production, maintenance and others respective department.
• Formulate and execute sourcing strategies for indirect materials, such as Maintenance Spares, Services, IT Hardware , office supplies, consumables, etc.
• Sourcing and finalizing potential bidder list, floating RFQs, making Techno-commercial comparison of quotations, negotiation, awarding POs, follow up with timeline.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and foster long-term partnerships.
• Contract Negotiation and Management
• Cost Analysis and Reduction
• Implement initiatives to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality or service.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply of indirect materials
• Work closely with internal departments to understand their material and service needs.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contract details
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and emerging suppliers.
• Working on cost saving projects through VA-VE techniques for consumable / services.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• SAP and Microsoft excel Knowledge is must
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
