Executive / Sr . Executive - Production

Job Purpose:

1)Production planning & scheduling product wise, on a daily basis so that the overall production plan of the organisation is met. Execute / Implement / track production activity, ensure that products meet quality standards as described into the work documents (AOS) 2)Execute / Implement / track production activity, ensure that products meet quality standards as described into the work documents (AOS). 3)Manage associates of the segment, co-ordinate with other departments like SCM, PPC, Stores etc. so that all the items required for production are available, do production-update in SAP. 4)Preparation of relevant production metrics and also participate in improvement activities like RRCA , ACE,TOP etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic - Prepare production plan , scheduling plan at micro level.
• Execution / Implementation - Plan & schedule production activity product & day wise, so that overall production targets are met ;Plan/Prepare crew load charts, Understand the Quarterly planning requirements & monthly plans and drives to meet quarter deliveries. Review daily reports and take appropriate actions to mitigate the issues/areas of concerns. predict the potential risks in schedule and report
• Execution / Implementation - Ensure AOS operations are carried out and timing adhered too; Prevent Non-conformances(NCs)
• Execution / Implementation - Supervise production activity and monitor panel movement ; Track, record, report production activity, AOS completion; Prepare relevant production metrics (Plan vs. Actual)
• Execution / Implementation - Guide/ Facilitate resolution in case of technical clarifications required; Highlight pre-emptive actions to be taken on critical issues like Jig setting & long lead item shortages
• Execution / Implementation - Management of hand tools and cutting tools ; Update daily production status; Maintain documents of production (Controlled copy)
• Execution / Implementation - Support in Process Improvement activities like ‘Ace in the Box’, ‘TOP’, ’Supplier Gold’,6? , AS 9100 etc.
• People Related - On the job guidance on both work related and behavioural activities
• People Related - Handling grievances, issuing leaves, ensuring safety compliance at the workplace. Motivating the team members, encouraging them to participate in different employee engagement activities
• People Related - Skill improvement of the employees and looking into their training needs. Tracking their attendance and training records and nominating based on the gaps available.
• People Related - Work allocation, goal setting and performance management of the reportees. Keeping a track of their activities. Review of the work done by indirect reportees. Contribution in normalization and charting out their career path. Work prioritization and allocation based on business requirements
• People Related - Team performance review on a weekly and Bi-monthly basis
• People Related - Developing, motivating, encouraging employees  and resolving people related issues of the other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the department
• Administrative / Co-Ordination - Role interacts with other departments viz. QA, ME,SCM , PPC and others on a daily basis involving routine work in a clear and effective manner to ensure production line does not stop
• Administrative / Co-Ordination - Coordinate with ME department for technical specification regarding the work documents (AOS o other)
• Administrative / Co-Ordination - Communication with other support functions by Meeting/Mail or personal interactions
