It Network Engineer

Role: Sr System Administrator

Location: Hyderabad

Youll be Responsible for?

• Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and perform regular security audits.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of windows servers 
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Proxmox, KVM).
• Deploy and manage virtual machines using platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V,Proxmox, or KVM.
• Monitor and optimize virtual environments for performance and resource utilization.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Automate virtualization tasks using scripting and tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong Experience with storage solutions and technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS).
• Manage and maintain storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and DAS.
• HPE( 3 PAR, ALLETRA, MP, ..etc) , DELL (Powerstore 500T, Unity ,EMC-Object store),   Nutanix …etc
• Configure and manage storage arrays and perform regular backups.
• Management of File, Block, and Object storage management 
• FC & iSCSI conn management 
• LUNS Creation, Mapping, management 
• RAID Configuration
• Multipath Configuration
• Ceph Storage implementation
• vSAN Storage implementation
• Monitor storage performance and ensure data integrity and security.
• Plan and implement storage expansion and upgrades as needed.
• Infrastructure & Operations
• Deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Manage storage systems (SAN/NAS) and optimize data access.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hybrid cloud deployments.
• Monitoring & Automation
• Use monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Netdata, open observability tools ..) to track system health.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Security & Compliance
• Enforce security policies, access control, and audit logging.
• Support vulnerability assessments and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2,etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as RHCE or VMware certifications.
• Experience with database administration (SQL & NOSQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in System administration, Systems and Infra Operations in large enterprises.
