Position: CPP Head
Job Description:
1. Hotel Sourcing and Negotiation
• Identify and approach hotels across domestic destinations to develop a diverse and competitive portfolio.
• Negotiate rates, availability, and exclusive deals to ensure maximum profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with hotel partners to secure favourable terms, including special offers and last-minute availability.
2. Contract Management
• Draft, review, and finalize agreements with hotel partners, ensuring adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
• Monitor contract performance and renegotiate terms as needed for optimal outcomes.
3. Market Research and Product Development
• Conduct regular market analysis to gauge customer preferences, competitive pricing, and emerging trends.
• Identify high-demand destinations and strategically expand the hotel inventory.
• Review existing products and roll out innovative and creative offerings.
• Conduct research and development to maintain a first-mover advantage.
4. Relationship Management
• Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hotel partners.
• Collaborate to resolve disputes, ensure timely payments, and address operational challenges.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
• Align inventory with business objectives by working closely with product, operations, and sales teams.
• Share regular updates on contracted hotels, including promotions, inventory, and new additions.
6. Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare detailed reports on hotel performance, booking trends, and revenue contributions.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize inventory and identify improvement opportunities.
7. Operational Excellence
• Inspect and review hotels and suppliers to meet market and company quality standards.
• Handle customer complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
8. Travel and On-Ground Engagement
Travel extensively across the country to inspect hotels, build partnerships, and fulfill operational requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience in hotel contracting, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Ability to analyze data and drive insights for business growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Scope of Responsibility:
• Strategic decision-making to expand and enhance the hotel portfolio.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in the contracting role
