Software Engineer II - Java/Node.js (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for "Software-Engineer-II-Java-Node-JS" to join our client's dynamic team (India's largest software-enabled neutral freight network today. They have built an intelligent operating system, on-ground expertise, and a digital platform that together enhance every step of the logistics process).

Locations : Onsite (Work from office) Bangalore & Gurugram

Experience Required : 4 - 6 yrs

Working Days : 5 days/week

Review Criteria :

Mandatory :

- Strong Backend Engineer profile

- Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have more than 3+ YOE in Software Development

- Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have Min 3 years of backend development experience in Java OR Node Js (Any 1)

- Mandatory (Company) - Product Companies only

- Mandatory (Education) - BE / BTECH / MCA

Preferred :

- Highly Preferred (Core Skill 1) - Must have Experience in any databases - MySQL / PostgreSQL / Postgres / Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 / SQL

- Highly Preferred (Core skill 2) - Experience with async workflows and messaging queues such as( RabbitMq, Kafka, Message Broker / Queue, Google Pub / Sub, Kinesis etc)

- Highly Preferred (Core Skills 3) - Experience in Cloud - AWS / Google Cloud / Azure

Role & Responsibilities :

- Be responsible for the development and testing of product initiatives and feature development.

- Work in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.

Ideal Candidate :

- B.E. in Computer Science / MCA. 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.

- Programming experience in Java and Javascript languages (Node JS).

- PHP experience is a plus.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc., is a plus.

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking system (Jira). CI/CD (argo) is a plus.

- Familiarity with async workflows and messaging queues such as RabbitMq, Kafka etc. and familiarity with monitoring tools (grafana alerts) and APM (newrelic) is a plus.

- Familiarity with the AWS cloud platform is a plus.

- Must be open to experimenting with new technologies & enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
