About the Role:
- We are looking for a dynamic YouTube Manager with an in-depth understanding of the platform, including best practices, algorithms, and growth strategies. This individual will be the face of our YouTube presence, hosting live streams, creating engaging content, and driving brand awareness through strategic content creation. Basic video editing skills are required to optimize content for engagement, retention, and reach.
- The role requires a creative, analytical, and hands-on approach to building and sustaining our YouTube channel's community and growth.
Responsibilities :
- Host live streams and create engaging video content for YouTube, showcasing your personality to represent our brand and engage our audience.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the YouTube channel, utilizing best practices, algorithm insights, and content optimization techniques.
- Plan and produce video content, ensuring it aligns with brand objectives and resonates with our audience.
- Utilize basic editing skills to enhance videos, including trimming, sound adjustments, and adding simple effects or captions.
- Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to align YouTube content with overall brand and campaign goals.
- Monitor channel analytics, such as watch time, audience retention, CTR, and engagement, to assess performance and improve future content.
- Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to maximize content reach and engagement.
- Engage with the YouTube community, responding to comments, hosting Q&A sessions, and fostering a positive online environment.
- Experiment with YouTube Shorts, playlists, and other formats to diversify content and reach a wider audience.
Skills & Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience managing YouTube content, with demonstrated knowledge of platform algorithms and best practices.
- Confident on-camera presence, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage audiences.
- Proficiency in basic video editing (experience with software like Canva, OBS, or basic video editing tools is a plus).
- Proven understanding of YouTube SEO, thumbnail optimization, and title/description strategies for visibility and engagement.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret YouTube metrics and improve content strategy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative, and Community Management.
- A passion for gaming or familiarity with gaming content is highly preferred.
