Manager - Procurement (5-19 yrs)

Looking for someone for the role of Manager Procurement with experience in Construction Chemicals / Maintenance Chemicals only.

JOB PURPOSE :

The purpose of this role is demand forecasting and buying key materials as per the laid down processes and ensuring that the parameters of cost, time and quality are met as per the desired standards of the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- To plan & procure all direct & indirect materials as per business requirement of cost, quality & delivery

- Procurement planning

- Execution of imports & domestic procurement

- Procurement S.O.P. compliances

- Alternate supplier development

- Quality improvement of suppliers

- Meet RM/PM delivery requirements of production

- Supplier quality score

- Value of outstanding

- Excellent communication skills % deviation from agreed SLAs at each step of the purchase process

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :-

- % deviation from agreed SLAs at each step of the purchase process

- Adherence to vendor payment SLA's

- Zero stock outs due to procurement

- Instances of process non-compliance

- Reduction in procurement cost year on year

- Reduction in indent conversion lead time

SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Proven work experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager

- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management

- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement

- Strong project management and leadership skills

- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships

- Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data

- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions

- Strong decision making and problem solving skills

- Excellent communication skills
