Vice President - Operations & Strategy - AgriTech (6-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Growth

- Design, test, and implement new initiatives to get the organisation closer to optimal project implementation

- Collaborate with the Product team to develop and test new operating systems

2. Performance Tracking and Optimization:

- Ensuring projects are delivering high-quality outputs, in a timely manner, at optimized budgets

- Building and maintaining granular task sheets and roadmaps, to ensure timeline and execution of projects are meeting requirements

- Daily/weekly analytics on performance on carbon processes, as well as input and output businesses; offering insight to Ops Execution, Product, and Carbon/Input/Output business heads

- Strategizing and tracking continuous improvements of operating budgets, product level improvements, and problem solving to ensure performance and improve efficiency

3. Existing Partner Management:

- Presenting daily/weekly analytics to each partner, offering insight and designing corrective action solutions, in deep collaboration with Ops Execution team

- Maintaining, updating and improving document repository of SOPs, Training Manuals, Processes

- Daily standups with Ops Execution team and implementation partner's teams (at managerial and operational level)

4. Internal Communications:

- Serving as the central conduit by processing and disseminating strategic requirements of carbon, input, output business heads to ensure all required tasks are solved for, and on-ground performance is met.

- Deep collaboration, and maintaining healthy and productive relationship with VP of Ops Execution - as a part of a 2-person leadership team at the central operations level

- Providing analysis based product insights to Product/Engineering teams

- Weekly updates to senior leadership and founders

- Design thinking mindset - rapid experimentation and recording of experimental data to drive insight based decisions

- Agility / adaptability - excel in high pressure, fast paced environments, with flexibility to process new insights and evolution of priorities

- Communications and Interpersonal Relationships - level headed, non-emotional, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Self-starter and independent task master who gets into the details, but has the ability to ask for help and rally the team to support and achieve end goals

Experience:

- Proven experience in optimizing processes and building systems and strategies to support scale

- Strong professional experience (7+ years) - ideally some time spent in consulting / strategy / operational excellence / product / scrum master type roles ; general understanding of climate / carbon / agriculture is a plus

- Strong educational background, preferably in engineering / operations / supply chain strategy type roles
