1. Understands relevant clauses of Master Service Agreement (MSA) / Customer contract and their implication on Revenue recognition in line with the requirement of IFRS & USGAAP.
2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue accounting in line with customer contracts and applicable GAAP (Ind AS 115 / ASC 606). Understand practical aspects and coordinate with operations to ensure correct revenue accounting as per accounting principles.
3. Ensure ongoing validation of Master data in system used for revenue recognition and customer billing.
4. Maintain accuracy & hygiene of revenue accrual process, track timely billing and escalate timely issues. Exposure to revenue model in IT Company is must. Understands the information flow of revenue transactions and concept of time sheet in IT companies.
5. Ensure ongoing effectiveness of revenue assurance / control framework and minimizing exposure to revenue leakage.
6. Communicate with the delivery team to seek clarifications / resolve issues required for accuracy, completeness and on-time revenue recognition.
7. Coordinate with Finance team for month end closure activities, audit and other data requirements.
8. Ensure appropriate documentation / data management relevant to revenue recognition and invoicing. Maintain revenue trackers to provide complete visibility and control over transactions.
9. Understanding of revenue recognition module in ERP (Oracle / SAP) is preferable.
10. Comfortable with advance excel skill, voluminous data management in excel, and preparation of adhoc revenue reporting requirements.
11. Background in transformation from a legacy system to new accounting platform is a desirable qualification.
12. Track record of having participated in cutting short the close timelines will be a huge plus
Shift Timing: 2 pm to 11 pm . Hybrid - 2 days working but they should be open to work 5 days also if required.
