SAP PP Consultant - ABAP Module (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Technical Expertise : Possess a deep understanding of SAP PP technical configurations, ABAP development, and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM).

- Implementation and Configuration : Lead the technical aspects of SAP PP implementations, including system configuration, customization, and data migration.

- ABAP Development : Develop ABAP reports, interfaces, and forms to meet specific business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and integration with existing systems.

- Integration : Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

- Troubleshooting and Support : Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP PP, providing timely solutions and workarounds.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization techniques to ensure efficient processing of production planning and execution tasks.

- Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP PP solutions.

- Documentation : Create detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications, and test scripts, to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance.

- Change Management : Participate in change management processes, ensuring that technical changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience : 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP technical implementation and support.

Technical Skills :

- Strong ABAP development skills, including report writing, form development, and interface programming.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP PP configuration, including MRP, production orders, routing, capacity planning, and shop floor control.

- Experience with SAP integration technologies, such as ALE/IDoc, BAPIs, and Web Services.

- Proficiency in SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, SAP GUI, and SAP HANA Studio.

Additional Considerations :

- Certifications : SAP PP certification is preferred.

- Industry Experience : Experience in manufacturing industries, such as automotive, aerospace, or discrete manufacturing, is advantageous.

- Global Experience : Experience working in multicultural and multinational environments is a plus
