Regional Sales Manager- Plant Equipment Leasing-North India
Responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential industrial clients, understanding their machinery needs, and selling them customized leasing packages for plant equipment like manufacturing machinery, production lines, or specialized tools. Strong technical background and a deep knowledge of the industrial market. Will develop sales team and manage the regional P&L
Key responsibilities may include:
- Needs analysis: Conducting thorough consultations with potential clients to identify their specific equipment requirements, production challenges, and budget constraints.
- Solution design: Developing customized leasing proposals that align with client needs, including equipment selection, lease terms, financing options, and maintenance plans.
- Technical expertise: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of plant machinery, its applications, and potential operational benefits to clients.
- Sales presentations: Presenting leasing proposals to key decision-makers, clearly explaining the value proposition of leasing versus purchasing equipment.
- Contract negotiation: Negotiating lease terms, pricing, and contract details with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Customer relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout the lease term, addressing concerns, and identifying potential upselling opportunities.
- Market analysis: Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activity to identify new market opportunities
Required skills and qualifications:
- Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of industrial machinery, manufacturing processes, and related equipment.
- Sales acumen: Proven track record of success in complex sales cycles, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Financial literacy: Ability to analyze financial statements, understand lease structures, and calculate ROI for clients.
- Relationship building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and key stakeholders.
- Industry experience: Prior experience working in the industrial equipment sales or leasing sector is highly preferred.
- Education : A master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is often desired.
