Finance Director - for leading engineering MNC

- Finance Director is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

- This role ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- The Controller also manages accounting staff and collaborates with other departments to align financial planning with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards.

- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Ensure compliance with local IndAS & US GAAP standards for financial reporting and tax requirements.

- Lead and assist with both internal and external audits

- Timely and accurate filing of tax returns

- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and ensuring efficient workflows.

- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.

- Coordinate and oversee external audits and other regulatory requirements.

- Develop and align with Vertiv VP&P, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.

- Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on financial matters.

- Execute and/or assist in critical business projects as required.
