Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Xstore Developer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining retail systems and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to support seamless integration and operation of retail systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions to meet business and client requirements.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical designs.

- Integrate Oracle Xstore with other retail systems such as inventory management, payment gateways, and ERP platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Xstore POS functionalities and integrations.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Oracle Retail solutions.

- Participate in testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Provide support for implementation, upgrades, and production deployments of Oracle Xstore solutions.

- Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of experience in Oracle Retail Xstore POS development and support.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, and other object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and SQL scripting.

- Strong understanding of Oracle Retail Xstore architecture and modules.

Retail Expertise :

- Familiarity with retail operations, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, promotions, and loyalty programs.

- Experience with integration tools and APIs for third-party system connectivity.

- Ability to analyze and debug logs, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.
