Graphic Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly creative and versatile Graphic Designer cum Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design and video editing, with the ability to bring ideas to life visually across various digital platforms. This role demands a blend of creative skills and technical expertise to produce high-quality designs and videos that engage audiences.

As a Graphic Designer cum Video Editor, you will be responsible for designing and editing marketing materials, social media content, website elements, promotional videos, and more. The right candidate will have a deep understanding of design principles, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to craft compelling visual stories through both static and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design:
• Create visually stunning graphics for digital platforms, including websites, social media, emails, and advertisements.
• Marketing collaterals, branding assets, infographics, and other design materials.
• Maintain and enhance the overall brand identity in all visual content.
• Collaborate with the other stake holders to ensure cohesive design strategies.
• Video Editing:
• Create, edit, cut, and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional campaigns.
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects into video projects.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different screen sizes and formats.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Content Creation:
• Develop visually engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Create graphics and videos tailored to the target audience for campaigns, advertisements, or brand awareness.
• Work with the content and marketing team to develop visual concepts for various campaigns.
• Knowledge of photoshoot and video shoot for various requirements.
• Collaboration and Feedback:
• Work closely with higher management, and other team members to ensure alignment with the overall creative vision.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions as needed.
• File Management:
• Maintain an organized library of design files, assets, and video content.
• Ensure all files are properly archived for future use.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field (preferred).
• 4-5 years of proven experience in both graphic design and video editing roles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both graphic design and video editing across a variety of platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of design principles, typography, and colour theory.

Technical Skills & Tools:

Graphic Design Tools:

• Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation, editing, and creating graphics.
• Adobe Illustrator for vector-based design, logo creation, and illustrations.
• Adobe InDesign for layout and print design, especially for brochures, flyers, and reports.
• CorelDRAW (optional) as an alternative to Illustrator for vector-based design.
• Sketch or Figma – for UI/UX design and digital interfaces (preferred for web/app design).
• Canva– (optional) for quick social media posts or templates.

Video Editing Tools:

• Adobe Premiere Pro – for editing and assembling video footage.
• Final Cut Pro – (optional) for macOS users who prefer an alternative to Premiere Pro.
• Adobe After Effects – for creating motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.
• DaVinci Resolve – for colour grading and advanced editing (preferred in certain industries).
• Filmora– (optional) as an alternative for simpler, user-friendly editing.
• Avid Media Composer – (optional) for high-end professional video editing in some fields.

Additional Skills:

• Basic Knowledge of Web Design – HTML, CSS, and WordPress (optional but a plus).
• Understanding of Social Media Platforms – and their specific design/video requirements (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
