Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (SSE) Perl Developer to join our dynamic engineering team.
- In this role, you will take ownership of maintaining, debugging, and optimizing our Perl-based applications, ensuring they are reliable, performant, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, integrate new technologies, and support the ongoing modernization of our systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on Perl programming.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Hands-on expertise with Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, and server management. Knowledge of version control systems like Git, or SVN
- Familiarity with APIs, data exchange formats (e.g., XML, CSV), and integration methods.
- Ability to handle technical debt, optimize code, and refactor legacy systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to outdated technologies and processes.
Education/Specific Knowledge
- Bachelor s or Above Degree in any discipline
