STG Infotech invites HPC System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Configure and Support HPC Systems and Applications, including account and System Administration, Optimization, and User Support
• Install and Support servers and workstations, including user-written and third-party Applications like Dassault Abaqus, Altair HyperWorks Suite, Ansys Fluent, and Safeworks Fe-Safe
• Implement and Manage queue systems and perform HPC and storage system Architecture Analysis and Design
• Analyze, log, track, and resolve complex software/hardware issues related to networking, printers, servers, and applications
• Coordinate hardware/software installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with operating policies.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot system problems, document events, and recommend and implement solutions
• Coordinate testing, upgrades, and configuration of system files and services, ensuring compliance with procedures
• Support CAE and queuing software maintenance updates and hotfixes
• Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and write reports as needed
• Collaborate with Client IT to support user accounts, back-ice applications, servers, and network issues
• Execute data backup and disaster recovery as per Client procedures
• Write scripts to improve productivity
• Perform system analysis, tuning, and optimization for both local client systems and server-based components
• Configure and Support Linux Engineering workstations and applications
