Principal DevOps Engineer - Terraform/Kubernetes (1-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- We're looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our awesome team of engineers.

- We work a LOT with AWS so you'll surely need the AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certificationA lot of our projects are in & around Kubernetes so you'll also need the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) badge.

- The CKAD & some OpenShift knowledge would be good to have.

- The CKS certification would be a big plusWe're a team of highly-motivated, proactive, hands-on, individual contributors.

- We would expect the same of you.As the creator & maintainer of foundational systems used by many dev teams across the org, you'll be called to guide/support developers on all kinds of issues: AWS, Kubernetes, or just plain Linux

- You should have at least 5 years of industry experience including 3+ years of AWS & 1+ years of Kubernetes experience.

- A software development background would also be really helpfulA big part of what we do on a daily basis, is build cloud infrastructure, so you must be very comfortable writing advanced Terraform & CloudFormation.

- Building custom Terraform modules, might also be required from time to timeWe're big on automation too, so you'll need a good grasp of Python & Bash, and the AWS services that aid in event-driven automation, like Lambda, EventBridge & Step Functions

- We lay the infrastructural foundation for new projects, including providing a great developer experience, especially in terms of ease of deployment.

- Our projects use a plethora of tools & services to automate deployments.

- You should have experience/knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps & AWS Code services

- You'll also be building robust monitoring systems for large-scale production systems.

- And you might get called sometimes to investigate & fix operational issues.

- You should be comfortable working with CloudWatch, deploying, configuring & using Prometheus & Grafana, and third-party infra & APM monitoring systems like DatadogIaC is awesome, but so is CaC.
