We are looking for an SDET Automation Tester who is available to join immediately or is currently serving their notice period

Role & responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science with 5 to 9 years of working knowledge as Automation test engineer/ SDET /QA Engineer
• Knowledge on at least one cloud platform Azure / Google Cloud / AWS
• Knowledge on UNIX/Linux and at least one programming/scripting knowledge is MUST
• Teradata Database and Client Utilities experience is a plus
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly and to leverage that knowledge for results analysis and problem solving
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with members of Test Engineering and Development groups
• Strong grasp of testing processes where one is results oriented working within a collaborative team

Required Skills:

• Key contributor to the delivery of a robust, resilient, quality products
• Well versed with designing/Implementing scalable test framework
• Strong code/scripting skills in Linux environment
• Automation is in your DNA
• Responsible for full support of the software development lifecycle Test driven development
• Experience and knowledge of software development, deployment, and testing methodologies
• Experience working in a Cloud/SaaS environment such as AWS, Google, or Azure
• Experience working with Virtualization software such as VMWare and OpenStack
• Experience working with one or more Containerization tools such as Docker, Vagrant or LXC
• Experience working with one or more Test and Build systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, or Ant
• Experience with source code control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Clearcase
• Communicate effectively with other engineers and various stakeholders
• Analyse and troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision

Desired Skills:

• Strong background in database internals and/or analytics through academic or working exposure
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems is highly desirable
