Role Description :

We are looking for a Senior Middleware Administrator with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team in Chennai.

The Senior Middleware Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining middleware infrastructure, with a focus on WebSphere Application Server, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, and performing system administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot middleware technologies and application servers, particularly WebSphere Application Server.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of middleware services.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of middleware components and application servers.

- Perform system administration tasks, including installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades of middleware components.

- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures for middleware systems.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

- Provide technical support, resolve complex system and middleware issues, and handle incidents efficiently.

- Ensure middleware environments comply with industry security standards and organizational policies

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in middleware technologies and application servers.

- Proficiency in administering WebSphere Application Server.

- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting middleware and system-related issues.

- Solid understanding of system administration tasks such as patch management, backup, and disaster recovery.

- Knowledge of server load balancing, clustering, and high-availability setups.

- Familiarity with performance tuning of middleware systems.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of experience as a Middleware Administrator.

- Relevant certifications in middleware technologies (e., IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic) are preferred.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise-level middleware solutions
