Automotive Domain Lead

Role & responsibilities

1. 10 + years of experience in product design with strong exposure to design & Development.

2. Minimum of 5+ in automotive products.

3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

4. Work with customer engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems are satisfactorily resolved.

5. Assist other project team members and design engineers in resolving issues related to the design of electronic hardware.

6. Guide team to prepare and present various hardware design documents.

Coordinate program activities with team members at remote sites

Job Description

• Review and understand customer specifications for automotive applications and

development

• Design automotive systems at the system level
• Support prototyping of new and existing products
• Develop and simulate hardware circuits, conduct worst-case analysis, and perform

other hardware-related tests

• Demonstrate expertise in EMI/EMC concepts, design techniques, and standards

(ISO, CISPR, etc.)

• Design automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and

microprocessor/microcontroller circuits, and understand hardware-software

interface requirements

• Understand design justification and design rules for electronic devices (BJTs, power

MOSFETs, IGBTs, Schottky diodes, etc.)

• Design motor drive application circuits
• Apply thermal concepts to electronic design
• Collaborate with other product design teams (systems, software, mechanical design,

etc.) and participate in requirements analysis.
