Senior Embedded Software Engineer (6-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in Android Automotive to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions for in-vehicle infotainment systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for automotive infotainment systems.

- Develop and integrate features related to Smartphone Projection Technologies.

- Develop and integrate navigation solutions.

- Develop and integrate media solutions.

- Work with Android OS, AOSP, Android Build System, Android Architecture, Android Multimedia Framework, Android Framework API, CAR Framework, HIDL, and HAL services.

- Develop and maintain drivers and other low-level software components as needed.

- Collaborate with other software and hardware teams to ensure seamless system integration.

- Resolve system-level issues and dependencies.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance.

- Follow Agile methodologies and ASPICE practices throughout the development process.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in system-level testing.

- Debug and resolve issues reported by customers.

- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Kotlin.

- Experience with Android Studio, Eclipse IDE, and other relevant development tools.

- Experience with version control systems.

- Experience with requirements management tools.

- Experience with design tools.

- Experience with configuration management tools.

Qualifications :

Experience : 6-12 years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on Android Automotive.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
