Marketing Manager - India and South Asia
We are looking for a customer-facing Marketing Manager from OT Equipments or / OT Capex or / OT High-End Products to play a pivotal role in driving business growth and market share within the India & South Asia region. This role requires a blend of marketing expertise, industry knowledge, and strong analytical skills to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and manage the execution of marketing plans for India & South Asia.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market share growth and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to gather data, analyze market trends, and develop actionable insights to form marketing strategies.
- Work collaboratively with business leaders to build long-term plan.
- Develop segmentation and go-to-market strategies for product lines, working collaboratively with customers and sales teams.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, buying behaviors, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive calendarized training plan to enhance competency.
- Identify KOL, Key consultants & MEP agencies and develop strategies to leverage their expertise for brand awareness and thought leadership.
Internal:
- Partner with the Global & APAC Marketing team to build and execute product launch plans, encompassing value proposition development, segmentation, pricing, channel strategy, and sales enablement tools.
- Design and implement programs to improve customer experience and drive to retain old customers.
- Performs industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies for growth.
- Orchestrates research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifies customers' clinical and economic needs, values, and desired benefits.
- Creates business case for new product development and product positioning in collaboration with global product leaders.
- Builds the forecast plan for India manufacturing for country.
- Work closely with India production team to support & meet the need of global demands.
- Drive & build process towards greater operational efficiency & smooth executions.
- Work closely with other sales, operations, marketing, and digital teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (focus on Medical equipment & Healthcare Infra)
- Between 10 - 20 years of experience.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the India & South Asia healthcare market is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing best practices and digital marketing channels.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and data visualization techniques.
