Organizational Overview: This role will be part of Synchrony Identity and Access Management Technology and Governance team which ties to Synchrony Information Security team.
Role Summary/Purpose: The Identity Governance User Reconciliation Senior Analyst is responsible for the validation of access between Synchrony systems and Synchrony s identity governance platform. Synchrony leverages SailPoint Identity IQ for its identity governance platform. An access reconciliation portal was created to reconcile access and role data between SailPoint Identity IQ and the target Synchrony system. This role will have the responsibility to ensure all access and role information in Synchrony s identity governance platform matches exactly with the respective access in each Synchrony system. This role will be a critical member of Synchrony s identity governance configuration management agile product team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure access and role information in Synchrony s identity governance platform matches with the access information in the respective Synchrony system.
Ensure roles and privileges that exist in the target system have an IT Role in Synchrony s identity governance platform.
Work with Synchrony s Role Based Access Control (RBAC) team to have IT Roles created for any roles that exist in the target system, but not in Synchrony s identity governance platform.
All role and access discrepancies must be remediated with the help of the technology owner and Synchrony s security administration team. Any remaining discrepancies must certified outside Synchrony s identity governance platform and appropriately risk treated.
For any systems that are not onboarded onto the access reconciliation portal, a manual reconciliation of access must be performed in accordance to the published job aid.
Partner with technology owners, the IAM security administration team and the access reconciliation portal development team to ensure accurate and complete role and workgroup configurations.
Ensure all access reconciliation job aids and end user guides are accurate, maintained and effectively communicated regularly.
Actively participate as a critical member of the SIAM Configuration Management agile product team. Develop, prioritize and ensure timely execution of all agile stories as assigned by the VP, Identity Governance Configuration Process.
Provide training and education to technology owners and stakeholders on access management best practices and standards.
Identify, propose and remediate process and technical gaps in Synchrony s access reconciliation service.
Required Skills/Knowledge :
Bachelor's degree with minimum 2+years of information technology experience or in lieu of degree 4+ years of information technology (IT) experience.
Minimum 2 years of role administration experience within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
At least 2 years of experience in the Identity Access Management (IAM) domain.
Desired Skills/Knowledge :
Working knowledge of Jira and SAFE agile framework
Working knowledge of entitlements and IT roles.
Working experience managing ServiceNow requests and incidents, resolving tickets within SLA.
Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Excel
Knowledge of security related regulatory standards including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, NIST
Good understanding of AWS and O365 environments
Working knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree with minimum 2+years of information technology experience or in lieu of degree 4+ years of information technology (IT) experience.
Work Timings: 2PM - 11PM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
