Role: DLP SME (Data Loss Prevention Subject Matter Expert)
Location: India
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our cybersecurity delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing comprehensive DLP solutions across multiple customers within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) model. This role requires in-depth knowledge of various DLP products, including Email DLP solutions such as Microsoft, and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies like Netskope and other products like Zscaler, Forcepoint.
Key Responsibilities:
DLP Implementation Management:
o Lead the end-to-end implementation of DLP solutions, ensuring effective data protection strategies are in place for all customers.
o Configure, deploy, and manage DLP tools and policies across various environments, including email, endpoint, network, and cloud.
o Provide technical expertise in the selection and integration of DLP technologies tailored to customer needs.
Customer Engagement Support:
o Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding DLP solutions, addressing any queries, issues, and providing ongoing support.
o Work closely with customers to understand their data protection requirements and customize DLP policies accordingly.
o Conduct regular reviews and assessments of DLP policies and controls to ensure compliance with customer data protection policies and regulations.
Product Expertise:
o Maintain deep knowledge of leading DLP and CASB products such as Microsoft Email DLP, Netskope, Zscaler, Forcepoint and others available in the market.
o Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and best practices in the DLP and CASB landscape.
o Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to internal teams and customers on DLP tools and best practices.
Incident Management Response:
o Monitor and respond to DLP s, incidents, and violations, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
o Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate data loss incidents.
o Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures related to DLP.
Documentation Reporting:
o Create and maintain detailed documentation for DLP implementations, configurations, and incident reports.
o Generate regular reports on DLP performance, incident trends, and policy effectiveness for internal and customer use.

Ability to communicate complex technology to no tech audience in simple and precise manner.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention.
Proven experience in implementing and managing DLP solutions across diverse environments.
In-depth knowledge of DLP products such as Microsoft Email DLP, Netskope, Zscaler, Forcepoint and other industry-leading tools.
Strong understanding of CASB technologies and their integration with DLP solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), or equivalent are preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in working within the MSP model or handling multiple customers simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) related to data loss prevention.
