Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Vini Toys across India. Align sales goals for both online (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit) and offline (wholesalers, distributors, retailers) channels with business objectives and revenue targets. New Product Development Support: Collaborate closely with the product development team by providing market insights, customer feedback, and sales data to guide the creation of new products. Contribute ideas that align with consumer preferences and market trends in the toy industry. Regional Sales Focus: Lead sales operations across South India (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana) and South East India. Customize sales strategies based on regional market dynamics, ensuring strong penetration and growth in each area. Online Sales Management: Oversee the development and execution of e-commerce sales strategies for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Blinkit. Optimize product listings, drive promotions, and implement sales campaigns to meet regional and national sales targets. Receivables Management: Proactive in managing receivables. This includes keeping track of receivables on a timely basis, developing strategies to reduce credit periods, and minimizing outstanding amounts, ensuring that cash flow remains optimized for the business. Offline Sales Strategy: Manage and expand the offline sales network, including wholesalers, distributors, and retailers. Ensure strong relationships, efficient distribution channels, and effective stock management to support sales growth in the region. Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching and feedback to ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets. Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and high-energy environment. Sales Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and analyze sales performance across all channels, providing timely reports and insights. Use this data to refine sales strategies and take corrective actions as needed. Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about regional market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer preferences. Use these insights to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients across online and offline channels. Address customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction to promote long-term loyalty.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure timely product availability, marketing campaigns, and smooth execution of sales strategies. Travel: As this role covers a large geographical area, travel across South India and South East India will be required to oversee sales operations, meet clients, and attend key meetings.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Sales Management, FMCG Sales) is a plus.
Experience: 8-15 years of experience in FMCG sales management, with a proven track record in managing both online and offline channels. Experience in South India and South East India markets is essential. Experience in the toy industry is an added advantage.
