🔍 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee procurement activities for CAPEX, OPEX, and Project Procurement within the Pharma API sector.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely procurement.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for API Project & Engineering , machinery, and equipment.

✅ Project Procurement & Cost Optimization

• Manage procurement for greenfield & brownfield projects, ensuring on-time material availability.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain procurement budgets and implement spend analysis for optimization.

✅ Compliance, Documentation & Team Leadership

• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines and internal QMS protocols.
• Maintain procurement records for audits and internal reviews.
• Lead the purchase department, mentoring and developing procurement professionals.

💡 Desired Candidate Profile:

✔ Minimum 10 years of experience in Pharma API procurement heading the purchase department.
✔ Hands-on experience in CAPEX, OPEX, and Project Procurement.
✔ Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, cost control, and supply chain management.
✔ Knowledge of regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical procurement.
✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
