Position: SAP ABAP Consultant (Contract Role)
Location: Bangalore, onsite

SAP ABAP: 6 to 10 years of experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Consultant to join our team for an exciting rollout project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA implementations and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ABAP Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements based on project requirements.

- Optimize existing ABAP code and performance tuning.

2. Project Implementation:

- Participate in the planning and execution of SAP rollout activities, including system configuration and data migration.

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

3. Integration and Testing:

- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.

- Coordinate with QA teams to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

4. Documentation:

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all custom developments and modifications.

- Prepare user manuals and training materials as needed.

5. Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide ongoing support and issue resolution for ABAP-related problems and user queries.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner.

6. Collaboration:

- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers.

- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.

Skills:

- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.

- Experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA and Fiori is a plus.

- Strong understanding of SAP development tools and methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications: SAP ABAP certification is preferred.
