Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PHP WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. You should have strong expertise in PHP, WordPress themes and plugin development, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
- Create custom WordPress plugins and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Work with designers to convert PSD/Figma/XD designs into fully functional WordPress themes.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best coding practices.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress and web development trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PHP , WordPress CMS , and MySQL.
- Experience with custom themes and plugin development .
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap .
- Experience with REST APIs and AJAX .
- Familiarity with WooCommerce , Elementor, and other popular WordPress plugins.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices .
- Experience with Git version control is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Experience in website speed optimization.
- Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, AWS, etc.).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
