Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, providing timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any reconciling items.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with other finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial data.
- Participate in special projects related to financial reporting and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (specify desired years of experience, e. , 3+ years, 5+ years) in R2R or general accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e. , SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
