We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Accounts Manager to join our rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with high integrity, accountability, and a passion for optimizing financial performance, processes, and strategies.
Expertise in accounting, tax, financial planning, profitability analysis, and cost management is essential.
This role will involve overseeing key accounting processes, payroll, and financial reporting and collaborating with various departments to maintain accurate, efficient, and error-free financial operations.

Experience: 3-5 years
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting in a Manufacturing Entity: The candidate is responsible for obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting as per Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013 based on the Company's nature of Business, understanding the Chart of Accounts and general ledger structure;
- Order2Cash: Prepare and manage the Company's lifecycle of the business process, including Invoicing to receivable management and reporting to the sales department on fortnightly outstanding accounts receivable invoicing.
- Procure2Pay: Vendor Payments & Invoicing: Validate and process vendor invoices and prepare payments, bills, and other invoices promptly.
- Record2Report: Month-End Book Close & Year-End Closes: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely preparation of reports per Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (I-GAAP).
- General Ledger: Conduct regular general ledger reviews to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Support the accounts receivable process by properly posting and reconciling payments and reviewing accounts to confirm accuracy.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all financial reporting, auditing, and statutory requirements, including handling internal and external audits.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare financial schedules and variance commentary for management accounts and operational results.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update records for profit & loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
- Reporting & Audits: Generate financial reports and support internal and external audit processes.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is highly preferred.
- Must have prior experience working in a Manufacturing Company
- Prior Experience in handling finance and accounts responsibility on your own
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fast-paced, dynamic environments like start-ups or small companies.
Skills:
- Proactive, results-oriented, and innovative, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Technical Skills:
Have a fairly good understanding on:
- Schedule II of Companies Act, 2013
- Schedule III of Companies Act, 2013
- Income Tax rates for TDS, Depreciation treatment, tax audit compliances
- Goods & Services Tax (GST) - Manufacturing company requirements for GST Input tax credits, Monthly Compliances for GST
- Import and Export Compliances with Indian Customs and DGFT
- Hands-on Experience with accounting systems like Zoho Books and integration with new platforms.
- Familiarity with Indian GAAP and accounting/tax preparation standards.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel & Word.
