Role & responsibilities

• Business partnering with leadership team to prepare roadmap for sustainable growth and driving cost optimization projects across teams to improve bottom-line of the business units;
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking;
• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis (including budgeted/priced vs actual performance), identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and optimization;
• Analyse financial data - and create financial models for decision support;
• Liaising with key business/practice stakeholders to ensure accuracy in financial forecasting process;
• Identifying key risks and opportunities for the year ahead for both revenue maximization and cost savings;
• Be actively involved in the annual financial budgeting process;
• Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augments transparency and improves controls;
• Work with accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial-book close process for the category; Provide support in delivering the month end financial results within the timelines set;

Preferred candidate profile

• Post Graduate degree in Finance and / or MBA in Finance;
• Experience in Management reporting / FP&A / Budgeting & Forecasting / Pricing & Commercials / Business Finance; Previous experience with Business Finance and / or in a Consulting/Advisory organization will be an added advantage
• 10-14 years of relevant experience for Manager / Sr. Manager level;
• Advanced spreadsheets skills and power point presentation skills
• Knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines US GAAP, IFRS, etc for recognizing revenue and recording costs in the books of accounts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (written and verbal), appropriate for engaging a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders;
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and financial modelling skills enabled by Excel skills;
