Product Owner - Healthcare Domain

A dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our healthcare product. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs, user requirements, and technical development to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and innovative solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.

1.Product Vision and Strategy

Fully understand the product and the logic behind it so he can match between technical and BAs

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and functionalities based on value, feasibility, and compliance.

2.Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other departments.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-centric interfaces and experiences.
• Work closely with QA teams to define testing criteria and ensure the product meets quality standards.

3.Development Oversight

• Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Provide clarification to the development team during sprints to ensure alignment with requirements & Bridge the Gaps between technical and BAs
• Monitor progress and address any blockers that arise during development.

4.Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure the product adheres to relevant healthcare regulations, standards and certifications.
• Mitigate risks associated with data privacy and security.

5.Product Delivery

• Manage the release process, including documentation, training, and rollout plans.
• Gather post-launch feedback and measure product success using KPIs (e.g., adoption rate, user satisfaction).

6.Market Analysis and Continuous Improvement

• Monitor competitor products and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
• Use data analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive product optimization.

Key Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or related field. A masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the healthcare or medical technology domain.
• Proven track record of delivering successful healthcare-related products.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and regulations (e.g., EHR systems, HL7, FHIR).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of healthcare-specific certifications like HL7 or PMP in healthcare projects.
