Role & Responsibility: -

• Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and other departments to ensure alignment with production goals.
• Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

• Process Management:

• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including assembly, machining, testing, and quality control.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

• Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for product quality.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the production team.

• Resource Management:

• Manage the allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to reduce waste and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain adequate supplies of raw materials and components.

• Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

• Cost Control and Budgeting:

• Develop and manage the production budget, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Track and analyze production costs, variances, and other financial metrics to identify areas for cost savings.
• Work with finance and other departments to ensure cost-effective production processes.

• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing unit.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the production team.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment, aiming to reduce workplace accidents and incidents.

• Equipment Maintenance and Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment and machinery.
• Work with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment.

• Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, efficiency, quality metrics, and inventory levels.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and production status.
• Ensure proper documentation of all production processes, procedures, and compliance records.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with other departments such as R&D, sales, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.
• Address and resolve production-related issues and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production objectives with organizational goals.

• Technology and Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies and trends in the pump industry.
• Identify and implement new technologies, automation tools, and systems to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Encourage innovation and new ideas within the production team to improve processes and product development.
