Production Executive - Packaging

Role & responsibilities

Operational

• To ensure safe and efficient operations in the compressed and dry Yeast Packaging area.
• Operate packaging machine as per SOP and deliver First time right quality with target efficiency.
• Maintain the documentation of all packaging related operations parameter with accuracy.
• Coordination with Filtration, drying, Warehouse and QC team to ensure adherence to the plan.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of packing equipment with Engineering team.
• Perform all the cleaning of the equipment, pipelines, their accessories and packing area as per SOP.
• Analyse machine/equipment operation parameters to detect malfunction early and minimize breakdown.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure the availability of packing material as per packing plan.
• Minimize packaging waste, maintain rejections below the target level

Reporting and Communication

• Coordination with other production departments and QC team for in-process sampling and Quality testing
• Monitor and communicate packaging KPIs and suggest ways to improve operational efficiency.

Reporting to supervisor for any abnormalities/improvements/troubleshooting in the packaging

Preferred candidate profile

• BSC/Diploma or equivalent - Preferred
• ITI or equivalent
• Key Skill: Full knowledge of Yeast Packaging operation, Packaging equipment, Good Manufacturing Practices, team player
• Having sufficient knowledge to run the packing machine effectively.
