Senior Engineer- Maintenance

Objective:

The successful candidate will work with an energetic and collaborative team at Sundynes office located in Pune, India. The Maintenance engineer must be a motivated and organized person who is responsible to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. A competent maintenance engineer will have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing systems. He will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the maintenance engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Lead pre-dispatch inspections of all capital equipment & machinery at vendor sites/locations.
• Plan and execute installation, commissioning & validation of equipment & machinery.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Should be able to do product testing of pumps & compressors.
• Carry out inspections of the equipment, machinery & facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Check electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of the facility to ensure functionality.
• Monitor equipment inventory and control the budget for maintenance.
• Keep preventive maintenance of all equipment with target toward zero breakdown.
• Monitor equipment spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
• MIS reporting -Daily, weekly, monthly reporting. (MTBF, MTBR)

Skills & Abilities:

• Proven experience as maintenance engineer role.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of machines, equipment & utility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of compliance to factory inspector guidelines.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001,45001,50001.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field: Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a similar industry.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.
