Job Description
Independently handling the accounting and reporting role ensuring timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books and completion of corporate audit
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Preparation and finalization of periodic accounts & subledgers in compliance with IND AS
- Ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure, audit, and monthly balance sheet review
- Delivering statutory reporting pack for quarterly, annual closing (in compliance with IND AS) with reasons of variances and Liasoning with auditors.
- Ledger scrutiny, review and reconciliation of vendor balances and corrective actions, vendor, and customer confirmations
- Controllership of fixed assets and inventory
- Liasoning with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, etc. for completion of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Limited Reviews and Internal Audit.
- Preparation of projected cash flows and day to day fund/cash management
- Preparation of tax computation/return, tax planning, advance tax calculation and payment
- Monitoring internal controls over various processes
- Preparation of DGH and corporate OPEX budget including revisions.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as desired by the management.
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
- Evaluating and managing risks
- Providing ad hoc information to stakeholders
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
CA /CMA with minimum 3 Years experience in Financial Accounting function with IndAS exposure
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Strong knowledge of IND AS, IGAAP and Oil & Gas Accounting. Knowledge of joint venture/field wise accounting, cost recovery and revenue sharing in Oil & Gas is preferable
- Hands on experience on ERP/SAP
- Strong knowledge in MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong understanding of internal processes and controls
- Knowledge of direct, indirect taxation, return filing etc. preferable in Oil & Gas
- Team player
- Good time management, interpersonal and communication skills
