Job Description
To manage the Production operations associated with Processing of Gas and crude oil Responsible to ensure safety in each and activities in plant and all work is carried out in accordance with the provision of applicable act and regulations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY
- Ensure All Production activities are undertaken safely and in accordance with statutory regulations
- Ensure that production is optimised with minimum downtime and production losses are minimised
- Ensures all production operations are carried out in a safe manner.
- Liaise with regulatory Inspectorate ( e.g. DGMS, GPCB, OISD, ICG) as required
- Daily and Monthly reports to DGH PDMS
- Ensures the effective working of the Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Managing emergencies
SUB-ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee daily production (Onshore /platform) operation activities.
- Oversees process parameters Monitor Oil, gas & water quality
- Ensures the production plant, processes and equipment are functioning efficiently.
- Monitor well behavior
- Liaises with onshore and offshore engineers regarding production issues
- Solves problems caused by production outages
- Maintaining the stock of required chemicals.
- Internal consumption optimization.
- Ensure PTW is followed.
- Ensure JSA, Tool box talks where necessary.
- Ensure safety equipments integrity
- Bypass records
- Incident investigations
- Prepare/review Site specific procedures.
- Ensure compliance to legal requirements
- Ensure legal reports are submitted on time
- Ensure inspection/Visit observations are complied and recorded.
- Ensure Clean & Green Environment
- Ensure Reports in line with daily production reports.
- Ensure all requirements are complied as per nature of work
- All required attachment is covered and filled accordingly
- Incident commander role
- Plant evacuation and shut down
- Activation of ERP
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Graduate in Mech./Chem./Petroleum engineering
- 5 years of experience in production operations.
- IMO level 2 course for on scene commander for oil spill response.
- Certified Auditor for ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007/ISO-45001.
