Java API Developer

Role & Responsibilities

• Experience in Rest API development.
• Good knowledge and experience of Java 1.8 or above.
• Good knowledge on Microservice Architecture.
• Experience in Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of Gradle or Maven.
• Spring security using OAuth2.0 and API gateway.
• Working knowledge of Unit testing framework like Mockito etc.
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate) or any JPA.
• Experience in SQL and No-SQL DB like MongoDB etc.
• Working knowledge of GIT and Code version maintenance tool like Bitbucket or Github.
• Experience of working on Open API specification like Swagger.
• Experience with REST APIs, development, configuration.
• Good knowledge of coding best practices and should be able to do code review of peer.
• Should have a working knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes /Open Shift.
• Streaming technologies, such as Kafka (Producer, Consumer and Streams).
• Knowledge on Postgres, Light4j Proxy, Light Gateway.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java/ Java API Development.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking.
• Domain knowledge of Insurance.
