Executive - Procurement

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for implementing the procurement and material handling activities of project purchase.
2. Perform vendor evaluation by collecting vendor credentials & floating enquiry to other suitable competent vendors.
3. Ensure timely finalization of contracts as per deadlines after receipt of BOQ request from Project Team (I/C-Electrical/Mechanical/Civil).
4. Plan project site visit & vendor site visit wherever applicable for timely execution of contracts.
5. Develop new vendor connections to get good quality, timely delivery of material and cost savings wherever applicable.
6. Support in all activities pertaining to the project right from launch to finalization with the Project Manager.
7. Coordinating with CO/regional accounts for timely accounting of invoices & releasing of payments in consultation with the projects team (IC-electrical/mechanical/civil).

Preferred candidate profile

1. Minimum 3 to 5 yrs work experience in FMCG Sector
2. Must be open to travel to project/vendor sites PAN India.
3. Strong interpersonal skills for better working with internal & external stakeholders
4. High on integrity
5. Good communication skills (verbal & written), analytical and effective networking skills, leadership skills and team player.
6. Proficiency in MS Office
