Role & responsibilities
1. Responsible for achieving company sales target & category growth through developing & implementing BTL (Below The Line) strategies that adhere to brands guidelines and customer expectations in coordination with the MT (Modern Trade) sales team.
2. Accountable for increase in brand awareness by creating top-notch Point of Sale Material (POSM) with the help of the sales team and reporting manager.
3. Responsible to consult with both internal (Supply Chain, Marketing Head & Finance) and external (Agencies, Key Accounts & Shoppers) stakeholders to gain information and insights to achieve results that are aligned with corporate and functional objectives.
4. Coordinate with the finance team to manage the MT budget against the cost policies for future planning and efficient achievements in MT promotional initiatives
5. Responsible to plan new product launch, develop sales presenters & road shows to promote the product and asses launch success in key markets by conducting periodic trade visits and preparing a closing report in coordination with marketing and sales team.
6. Responsible to accurately forecast the banded gifts/samples and any other special/ customised packs for distribution in all the assigned areas to introduce the products to new customers
7. Responsible for the shipment of all promotional & packaging materials to all markets by developing the packaging artwork with best in class quality in coordination with the reporting manager.
8. Responsible for evaluating the pre & post promotions activities through estimated ROI and analyse market feedback through market data collection for devising effective strategies in coordination with MT sales team.
9. Responsible for developing and implementing yearly promotional plan on brand level and country level in line with the brand guidelines, sales feedback and shoppers insights with approval from reporting manager
10. Ensure to align the feedback and suggestions of MT sales team and brand managers for devising effective promotional strategies and present the proposed promotional plan to sales head and marketing head for approval
11. Responsible for developing and delivering the requisite training on product expertise and customer profiles to equip the sales team for better business through expansion of customer base.
12. Responsible for planning and implementing the salesman merchandising tools for gaining insights about the prospects in collaboration with the reporting manager and the sales team.
13. Continuous benchmark of industry practices in relevant fields and provide recommendations.
14. Champion and articulate innovations and improvements pertaining to systems and processes related to the respective domain.
15. Enable team members to perform better by providing timely feedback, conducting structured performance development reviews and setting clear KRAs and providing inputs for development.
16. Responsible for motivating and developing team members to effectively deliver their responsibilities.
Preferred candidate profile
ESSENTIAL
1. Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in FMCG, retail and modern trade (MT).
2. Good geographical knowledge of the assigned state/territory
3. Knowledge of Chilled & frozen foods
4. High on integrity
5. Excellent communication verbal, written and presentation skills
6. Effective networking skills
7. Strong Interpersonal Skills for better working with internal stakeholders
8. Active listening skills, highly consultative and solution oriented
