Job Description

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including but not limited to payroll administration, recruitment, attendance management, employee relations, performance appraisals, and compliance with labor laws. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills who can maintain a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.


Role & responsibilities:


1. Payroll Management:

  • Administer and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (taxes, benefits, deductions).
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Manage employee benefits, deductions, and bonuses.

2. Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate selection.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure the recruitment process aligns with company goals.
  • Conduct onboarding for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company culture.

3. Attendance and Leave Management:

  • Oversee attendance tracking and ensure employees adhere to company policies.
  • Administer employee leave requests (sick leave, vacation, etc.) and ensure accurate records.
  • Investigate and resolve attendance-related issues or disputes in collaboration with department heads.

4. Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and concerns.
  • Promote a positive work environment and resolve any employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support management in addressing workplace conflicts and fostering strong team collaboration.

5. Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback sessions for employees.
  • Work with managers to set goals, track performance, and develop improvement plans.
  • Advise on employee development and career progression strategies.

6. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure company policies and practices comply with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation and reports, including attendance, payroll, and performance records.
  • Assist in audits and ensure data privacy and confidentiality for all HR matters.

7. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and organize relevant professional development programs for employees.
  • Support initiatives for employee engagement, retention, and career growth



Preferred candidate profile:


  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR management or a similar role, preferably in a mid-sized company.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency with HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
