About the Role.

- We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our core Pentest-as-a-Service (PTaaS) team.

- The ideal candidate will be a self-driven security professional with strong technical skills across cloud security, application security, and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Dues

- Conduct comprehensive cloud security assessments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

- Perform thorough secure code reviews using automated tools and manual analysis.

- Execute web application security assessments using industry-standard and custom tools.

- Develop and maintain custom security rules and detection mechanisms.

- Create detailed, actionable security assessment reports.

- Provide technical guidance to clients for vulnerability remediation.

Project Management :

- Drive security assessment projects independently from start to finish.

- Ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of security assessments.

- Communicate electively with clients about security findings and remediation strategies.

- Document and present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in cloud security architecture and best practices across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency with cloud security assessment tools such as Prowler and CloudMapper.

- Experience with secure code review methodologies and tools like Semgrep.

- Ability to develop custom security rules and detection mechanisms.

- Strong knowledge of web application security testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with professional security tools like Burp Suite.

- Understanding of common web vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

Knowledge & Standards

- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP ASVS.

- Familiarity with NIST frameworks and security guidelines.

- Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and security standards.

- Understanding of secure development practices and DevSecOps principles.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information security, or related eld.

Relevant security certifications :

- OSCP, CEH, AWS/Azure/GCP Security certifications) preferred 3+ years of experience in application security, penetration testing, or related field.
